Learning and growth is encouraged by providing compensation for continuing education, participation in technical societies, research and development, and maintenance of technical data and standards. Our in-house education program, "THP University", keeps our staff abreast of current industry and practice trends and enables staff to earn Professional Development Hours.

We are active and involved in events within the company and with our external team members. Our company team building and family events include happy hours, major and minor league baseball games, a summer lunch grill out, chili day, golf outings, a holiday party, and the Festival of Lights.
Our team promotes our profession to younger generations through shadow days, speaking engagements at local schools, and by serving as judges at youth engineering events. Members of our team also serve as advisors at local universities and community colleges. THP has a long-standing co-op program with local universities that provides hands-on training, professional development, and permanent employment opportunities for students.
Employees and their families support our local community by regularly participating in community events including People Working Cooperatively, Artswave, the Heart Mini, the Walk for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Relay for Life, Boy Scouts of America, and the Flying Pig Marathon.
